I have been wearing Expand belts for several years now. I love them. They provide great support, no matter what pants I am wearing. Very comfortable, and they eliminate the need to punch holes in belts when your waist size changes. I have lost 20 pounds in the last year, and these belts are pretty much self adjusting.

Easy to adjust. Way sleeker than regular belt buckles.

This belt is comfy and stretchy! I'd say perfect as an accessory to a dress, when it comes to pants, it's a bit of a pain to get the belt through the belt loops as the buckle is on both ends of the belt.

The idea of elastic belts sounds weird but in practice work really nice! They're comfortable and allow you some movements without being overly tight, preventing mobility. It also helps keep your crack from exposure. Mildly.

Sliding the buckle up/down to open takes a little bit of getting used to but the strong magnets and the way the grooves slide into each other are confidence inspiring and easy to clip together. It also stays closed nicely even if you try to stretch out the belt (flexing your abdominals, sitting down, bending down, etc.).

There's just two main inconvenience with it:

For one, it is harder to wear and adjust. Because the belt ends have half the buckle, it is a lot more bulky than a standard belt. This means it is harder to thread through pant belt loops, and some tighter belt loops may even have trouble passing them through. It is also harder to adjust the length of the belt on the fly.

The second one is regarding the elastic belt stay. Because the belt is elastic, as you move about the belt will stretch and contract as you move. This will actually cause the belt stay to move around with the stretching of the belt. So whatever is tucked it to the belt stay will, well, no longer run along neatly with the belt around your waist but stick out a little.

But overall, I think these Xpand belts are still a solid choice when it comes to elastic belts. If they can work out some of the kinks it'd be close to perfect, and since these are already quite comfortable to wear as they are, they get my recommendation unless you really need to play a lot with your belt sizing during the day or if you really always want it to look super neat around your waist.

This is a great innovation.I am currently using now as i review this product to hold up a pair of oversized sweat pants and thermals, and i must say they are doing a fine job.The elastic belt strap grips well without being constricting. Will not leave marks. Will give you that extra “give” without really “giving up.” It is indeed long but i don’t see the need of cutting it. For one, it might fray the end. And secondly, it has a belt loop where you can insert the excess length.The buckle is indeed the innovation of this product. Magnetic with slots to line it up perfectly. Does not unlock that easily, preventing you getting caught with your pants down.This is a slim pair. Will fit any pair of pants with a standard belt loop. Will also fit any pair for as long as the strap can go through. But might need to disassemble it from the buckle first.Overall, nothing negative to say. This would be a very good belt specially during strenous activity whete wasit movement will be hindered by the traditional belt and buckle. Will order more colors.
